Migration of Legacy Systems
Client perceptions for the upgrade of obsolete safety systems is one of extreme difficulty. Unreliable documentation and poorly maintained software provide a barrier to accurate migration. We aim to provide an accurate, manageable, PLC-independent upgrade path
Our dedicated project team have extensive experience of migrating legacy PLC software to current IEC61131 standard using a combination of our proven software tools. Our software tool suite is employed to analyse the system requirements and functionality, providing auto-generated documentation and robust, fully tested, fit-for-purpose IEC61131-3 FB application code.
The client is free to choose the most suitable replacement hardware for full integration to his application, achieving a compliant, well-documented safe system for onward lifecycle management and obsoletion-proof design.
